Support and Discussion Groups

Our neurodivergent discussion and support group is for anyone who is, lives with, works with, loves or interacts with someone who is Autistic, Dyslexic, ADHD or has any other neurodivergent traits.

Led by Emily Guida, who is on the spectrum herself, this weekly group meeting helps participants to not only understand themselves better but to also learn coping techniques she has used her entire life.

This group meets weekly at 7 PM on Mondays.

We don't live far outside of Oxford, Michigan.

After the horrific events that took place at Oxford High, we've had several people mention that they don't feel they can honestly discuss their feelings about the events that happened anywhere in Oxford.

Led by Colleen McCabe, this group is outside of the community and participants are free to express themselves freely in order to deal with the trauma and begin the healing process.

This group will meet the 1st Friday each month.

We realize that people everywhere are feeling they aren't able to express themselves without reprisal so we started our Talking Stick Healing Circle!

The rules are simple:  

He who has the stick can speak

The Circle Keeper will keep the time and keep the stick moving

Silence is expected from all unless they have the stick

No "comments from the peanut gallery"

This gives each person a chance to have their say, to let it go and to begin the healing process 

as well as feeling they've been heard.

Circle meets the last Saturday every month at 7 PM
