Yoga is an excellent form of exercise that helps you stretch and strengthen muscles, improve balance and gain flexibility. Yoga also helps you to improve breathing patterns and calm the mind chatter that keeps telling you that you can't do it.
Meditation provides the tools you need to calm your chaotic thoughts, gain clarity and reason out your best choices.
Journaling can help you in several way. Firstly, it allows you to express and release thoughts and feelings that can keep your mind occupied, interfering with your sleep cycles. Second, it helps keep a record of your thoughts and feelings, helping you to not only remember but also to notice patterns so they can be addressed. Journaling after a meditation can help you uncover "hidden" messages from your subconscious to help provide direction and answers to situations in your life.
