What is Joyful Spirit?

Joyful Spirit is a unique blend of mindfulness/meditation practice, sound healing, energy healing practice and a movement/exercise practice all rolled into one.

It is self-care. It is meditation. It is movement. It is self-awareness. It connects your body, mind and spirit. Most of all it is fun!


Benefits of Joyful Spirit

Joyful Spirit is a physical activity. It is an enjoyable moderate fitness/exercise practice. It gets participants “off the couch” and moving. This can help with multiple health issues in a gentle, fun way.


It is also a mindfulness/meditation practice. Participants are guided into a light meditative state, calming the mind and shifting to the parasympathetic nervous system. Benefits of this are reduction of stress, reducing blood pressure and promoting peaceful interactions. It also forges a mind/body connection improving awareness of physical and positional alignment which can help participants be more aware of issues before they become debilitating and painful.


Joyful Spirit is an energy healing practice. The human body has subtle energies that can become blocked at times. Kinetic energy from moving can help get these subtle energies moving and remove those blockages, allowing the energy field to become more balanced which allows the body to heal itself.


Because music is included in the practice, it is also a sound/vibrational healing practice. Different frequencies in music help the body to heal itself. These vibrations can also affect the vibrational level of the body.


Mental health is affected through a Joyful Spirit session. The choice of music for the session can directly affect the emotions of the participants which, in turn, affects their mood. Choosing happy, uplifting or familiar tunes can help to lessen depression symptoms and bring positive memories to mind.


Overall, Joyful Spirit brings together practices that help support body, mind, soul and spiritual growth, improvement and healing through scientifically proven techniques blended in a unique combination.

can run any of the above, but, since they focus on healing, try a playlist of solfeggio tone music for Chakra balance or focus on a single tone to target healing during the session.

Since most of this type of music isn't "drum heavy", these sessions benefit

from a set "circular walking" pattern or

swaying in place.

These will bring about a much more

pronounced body/mind connection.

Training Available

What is the training and how long?

Training for Joyful Spirit is simple and can be completed in a single day or a weekend.  

You will be trained to organize, set up, promote, lead and complete Joyful Spirit sessions, including suggested playlists and scripting.

What is the cost?

Joyful Spirit training is $500 and allows you to use the Joyful Spirit name and graphic to promote your sessions.
